We have all the options in cenotes
We have a visit to the most important cenotes of the region near Chichen-Itza such as Ik-Kil, Xcajum, Suytun, Hubiku etc.
Hugo our tour guide was amazing and the day was made more special by the knowledge he shared about the history of the ruins, it is an amazing place and an incredible architectural achievement.
There are lots of market traders calling one dollar one dollar, selling souvenirs but haggle and they will drop their prices or just say no and they will leave you alone.
After seeing the ruins we moved on to swimming in a cenote, sort of a mix between a cave and underground well, whilst again it was amazing this warrants the only criticism of the day, in that all the excursions seem to arrive at the cenote at the same time so there are too many people swimming in the cenote at the same time.
What our customers say
Some comments from our clients who have already visited us
"We toured with a group and had advance reservations. Chichen Itza is roughly 123-miles from Cancun City in the Yucatan jungle. I would suggest a tour so that you understand what you are seeing. Unlike the US historical sites, there are no markers identifying or explaining anything."
"This is a must see if you are in the Yucatan. A guided tour is a must to full appreciate the site. Keep your head down and do not make eye contact with the vendors who swarm at the tourists as they arrive. The vendors really do detract from the experience but once you are fully inside the site, they are not too much of a bother until you walk down to the Sacred Cenote. It is crowded. It can get hot. It is a tourist trap. So be prepared. If you know that going into it, you will not be disappointed."
"When coming to Mexico I couldn’t not visit Chichen Itza, it’s one of the main tourist attractions and it was amazing learning about its history. We booked it as a joint tour with Ik Kil cenote so first we visited here and then the cenote before going home.. however coming from riviera maya we left at 7.15 am & didn’t get home until 9pm.. a very long day so make sure you come prepared if you do this joint tour!"
"Definitely worth seeing if you enjoy history and can be amazed at other cultures. A zillion people selling the same stuff around the ruins was not necessary but it is Mexico."
